The company owns a local accommodation unit located in São Lourenço, in the parish of Santa Bárbara, which consists of two houses called ‘Casa Verde’ and ‘Casa Azul’.

Alo. Baía São Lourenço, Lda is a company based on the island of Santa Maria, in Santo Espírito, Municipality of Vila do Porto, which is dedicated to tourist accommodation and textile washing and cleaning.

This project began in 2017 with the acquisition and renovation of two houses in São Lourenço, designed to accommodate tourists and diversify the range of tourist accommodation on the island of Santa Maria, and in this location in particular. The concept was developed based on the shades of blue of the sea and green of the hillside and vineyards, which give the houses their names – Casa Azul (Blue House) and Casa Verde (Green House). In 2021, we enthusiastically welcomed our first guests.

Big well equipped modern house next to the beach with friendly host

This house was spotlessly clean (and I’m super picky!). It was also beautiful and very comfortable for our family of 5. The views were spectacular and it was a 1 minute walk to the beach. The hosts left us a beautiful welcome basket and were super attentive to our needs. Everyone agreed that our stay at the Green House was amazing!

The location was beautiful, the house was just across the road to the seafront. The house is beautifully furnished with amazing woodwork. The soft furnishing is stylish and very good quality. Decoration is light, bright and a wonderful theme of green! The kitchen was fully equipped, and a lovely selection of welcome goodies were there when we arrived. The beds are very comfortable. The seating areas are lovely, terrace and balcony facing the front out to sea and back terrace sitting and bbq area in the shade. Absolutely perfect! Our hosts Cesar and family were so incredibly helpful, a very big thank you to them for making our holiday so special

Beautiful house

It was so clean, beautiful house, can hear the waves from the house, basically ocean front. Amazing, kind host and family. They went out of their way to help us when we needed to get to the airport. Amazing 10/10

Trabalhar remotamente num paraíso de verde e azul

Viemos para trabalhar remotamente e aproveitar para conhecer a Ilha de Santa Maria. A Baía de São Lourenço é lindíssima e a Casa Verde tem uma vista fabulosa sobre o oceano e o ilhéu. A casa estava impecavelmente limpa, é espaçosa e muito confortável com todas a condições para trabalho remoto, fica a 1min a pé da praia e tem um pátio externo com barbecue, minicozinha, mesas e toldos. Os anfitriões foram muito além do necessário para garantir que tínhamos uma estadia inesquecível!

Wonderful!

Beautiful, modern and very clean apartment with a a great outdoor space as well! Perfect location across the street from the best beach on the island. There was a welcome gift full of wonderful Azorean things to try and the host went above and beyond to make our experience excellent. I would highly recommend!

We highly recommend! We'll be back!

This beautiful beach house villa is steps from the water with a handful of cafes/restaurants nearby. The island of Santa Maria is small but charming with a lot of nooks to explore. We highly recommend staying here especially if the weather is warm to optimize your time at the beach. The villa itself was very well designed with lots of kitchen tools and grill to use if you have a family and you're interested in cooking instead of going out. Town with a couple of supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, and gas stations is about 30 minutes away. We highly recommend and plan to return!
